Raquan "Turbo" Jones, 23, and Isaiah Watts, 24, are both facing felony charges following an investigation into a gunpoint robbery involving two pairs of shoes worth thousands of dollars.

The investigation was launched in late September, when a deputy was called to Genesis Logistics on Bradburn Place to investigate a robbery when the pair's purported victim advised that he had been robbed of the sneakers.

According to the victim, he agreed to meet with a Jones, a co-worker known as "Turbo," who changed his mind at the last minute about buying the shoes and set up a separate meeting for someone to purchase them.

The new buyer, later identified as Watts, made contact with the victim, brandished a gun, and demanded the shoes; though, part of the robbery was recorded, leading investigators to the two men.

"Turbo" was identified as Jones, who was tracked down in an Uber on Onville Road, where he was found to be in possession of two guns - one without a serial number - and one of the pairs of shoes.

He was arrested without incident.

Detectives then were able to identify Watts as the second suspect through the video taken of the robbery, and he taken into custody this week.

Jones was initially charged with possession of stolen goods and the removal of a serial number from a firearm.

He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $5,000 secured bond; however, as the investigation continued, he was also charged with conspiracy to commit grand larceny and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Jones is now being held without bond.

Watts was charged with robbery, conspiracy to use a firearm in commission of a robbery, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

He is also being held without bond.
